Dr. Nick Chancellor
Dr. Chancellor is a research and teaching fellow in the Department of Physics at Durham University, and an innovation fellow at the United Kingdom Research and Innovation, where he is focused on energy landscape-based hybrid quantum/classical computing.
He is best known for his pioneering research on the reverse annealing protocol for quantum annealing and is frequently invited to speak at top quantum computing workshops.
He is a member of the editorial board of PLOSOne, and was selected to participate in the exclusive 2012 Lindau meeting of Nobel Laureates and students.
He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Southern California and Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Colorado School of Mines.
